Sea Kayaking

3-day/2-night Magic Triangle (sea kayaking at Lake Titicaca)

Leaving early either from Puno, or Juliaca we enter the road to Llachon at Illpa, passing the villages of Huata and Coata. The road follows the lake shore and we pass two communities until we reach the village of Llachon, our embarkation point. After a briefing we embark on our three to four hour sea-kayak adventure until reaching the beach at Tikonata Island, an uninhabited island where farmers from the peninsula come to work the land. Next day we cross over to Taquile Island, disembarking on its southern tip, hiking along the island to the main square and visiting the village. On our third day we proceed to explore the coastline of the island and then head across the open water again returning to our starting point at Llachon.
